At the expense of a grant from the German Society for International Cooperation (GIZ), the heating system of school No. 23 in the Chimbay district was updated
Presidential Decree No. PF-16 “On the State Program for the Implementation of the Strategy “Uzbekistan – 2030” established measures to expand the use of “green energy” sources at state social facilities and attract grant funds to each region. In order to fulfill this task, 2 heat pumps with a capacity of 35 kilowatts were installed at school No. 23, located in the “Gulistan” mahalla of the Chimbay district, at the expense of a grant of 70 thousand dollars. In addition, solar panels with a total capacity of 30 kW and a new electric transformer were installed.
These heat pumps allow heating a building with an area of 705 m2 in winter and cooling it in summer. The installed solar panels with a capacity of 30 kW make it possible to generate additional environmentally friendly electricity, reduce the load on the network, and reduce electricity costs. The new transformer will provide the entire school with stable electricity and support the operation of modern equipment. As a result of the comprehensive modernization of the system, the energy efficiency of the institution has been increased, utility costs have been reduced, and students and staff have access to comfortable, safe, and environmentally friendly conditions for the educational process in any season of the year.
